Over 20,000 students to be honoured at PASWA’s grand event in Ranchi

Ranchi, June 19: The Public Schools and Children Welfare Association (PASWA) is set to host the grand on Sunday, June 23 at 9:30 AM at the Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium, Khelgaon, Ranchi. The event aims to honour more than 20,000 students from CBSE, ICSE, and JAC boards who secured 65% or more in their 10th and 12th board examinations for the academic year 2024–25.

A Celebration of Hard Work and Resilience

Speaking about the upcoming event, PASWA National President Alok Kumar Dubey stated that the initiative goes beyond recognising toppers. “This celebration is dedicated to all students who, despite challenges, have shown commitment and resilience. In today’s competitive world, securing 65% is a significant achievement, and we want to honour every such student,” he said.

Dubey added that this initiative by PASWA is a step towards boosting students’ self-confidence and motivating them to strive further. Students achieving first, second and third ranks will receive special prizes, while all other qualifying students will be presented with certificates and medals.

Dignitaries to Grace the Occasion

The ceremony will be inaugurated by the Minister for Higher Education, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Sudivya Kumar Sonu, who will light the ceremonial lamp. Chief guest for the event, Rural Development Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, will honour the students personally.

Other dignitaries expected to attend include:

  • Education Minister Ramdas Soren
  • Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari
  • Minority Welfare Minister Hafizul Hasan
  • Former Finance Minister and Chief Patron of PASWA, Dr Rameshwar Oraon, who will serve as the welcome chair

Cultural Performances and Hospitality

The ceremony will begin with vibrant cultural performances, adding a festive atmosphere to the recognition event. PASWA has also ensured excellent food and hospitality arrangements for all participating students and their parents.
