New Delhi, March 13: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Wednesday that New Zealand will visit Pakistan in April for a five-match T20I series ahead of the T20 World Cup.
The series is scheduled to occur from April 18 to 27, with the New Zealand team set to arrive in Pakistan on April 14 for ample training and practice sessions prior to the T20 World Cup commencing in June.
Rawalpindi will host the initial three T20I matches of the series, after which the visiting team will journey to Lahore for the final two games.

The first three T20Is will be played in Rawalpindi on April 18, April 20 and April 21 while the fourth and fifth matches will be held in Lahore on April 25 and April 27.
This upcoming visit will mark the Kiwis’ third trip to Pakistan in the past 17 months. Their first visit took place from December 2022 to January 2023, during which they played two Tests and three ODIs against Pakistan.
While New Zealand won the ODI series by a score of 2-1, the 2022–23 Test series ended in a 0-0 draw.
Pakistan lost 4-1 in T20Is when they toured New Zealand earlier this year.
