Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: The Utkarsh Odisha- Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, a major Global Investment Summit hosted by the Odisha government, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.
The event, aimed at positioning Odisha as a premier investment and industrial hub in India and a cornerstone of the Purvodaya vision, saw the participation of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaishnaw, as well as influential business leaders from India and around the world.
The conclave will feature various sessions, including CEOs and Leaders’ Roundtables, B2B meetings, and policy discussions, aimed at engaging global investors.

The two-day event, running from January 28 to 29, will provide a platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore the opportunities Odisha presents as a prime investment destination.
During his address, Chief Minister Majhi expressed his appreciation for the Prime Minister’s continued support, noting that this marked Modi’s fifth visit to the state in just seven months. Majhi highlighted the significant infrastructural advancements and transformations that would be driven by initiatives like ‘Purvodaya.’
Prime Minister Modi also launched the Make in Odisha Exhibition, which showcases the state’s progress in developing a dynamic industrial ecosystem.
