Deogarh, Nov 23: Launching a full-scale attack on the Congress government on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged that Rajasthan had become “number one” in the “riots, crime, corruption and paper leak” case while Congress had been in power.
“BJP is going to form the government in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh,” Prime Minister Modi declared while concluding his campaign in the state, expressing confidence that his party will win elections in these three states.
PM Modi has given assurance that, if the BJP secures victory, the party will strive to elevate the state to the top position in areas such as tourism, investments, industries, and education.
During a rapid tour of the poll-bound state of Rajasthan, PM Modi, at a campaign rally in Deogarh district stated, “Congress promoted Rajasthan to the number one position in riots, crime, corruption and paper leaks (during their five years of rule)”.

Modi reassured the audience, “We (BJP) will promote Rajasthan to the number one position in tourism, investments, industries, and education…'” while highlighting the “need” for a strong government for the growth of the State.
PM Modi stated that when the Congress government assumed power, they halted all the initiatives of the preceding BJP-led government.
“Five years ago, when Congress came to power, they stopped all our schemes,” PM Modi added.
Anticipating the BJP’s “win” in the forthcoming Assembly elections, PM Modi stated, “On December 3, when the BJP will return to power, we will take forward the schemes that will benefit the people of the state…”
“Our alliance is with the Janata Janardan,” Prime Minister Modi stated during his speech.
Following the passing of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Koonar, elections in the Karanpur constituency were postponed. As a result, 199 of the 200 assembly seats will be contested on November 25.
Today marks the final day of campaigning in the state before the elections on November 25, with results scheduled to be announced on December 3.
In the 200-member assembly, the Congress secured 99 seats and the BJP 73 in the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections.
