President Murmu grants assent to Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak

New Delhi, Dec 12: President Droupadi Murmu has granted assent to the Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, a landmark bill aimed at enhancing the designing and manufacturing of aircraft in India.

This new legislation, which replaces the 90-year-old Aircraft Act, was approved by Parliament earlier this month.

A notification dated December 11 confirms that the President has given assent to the bill.
