Dehradun, Jan 31: Uttarakhand is poised to have its first female Chief Secretary as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gives the nod to the appointment of IAS officer Radha Raturi for the role.

CM Dhami’s directive paved the way for this development.

Raturi is a 1988 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

She served as the state’s additional chief secretary before being named chief secretary of Uttarakhand.

She is the first female official to assume the highest administrative role in Uttarakhand.
