New Delhi, Nov 7: Rahul Gandhi has levelled serious allegations against Parth Pawar, son of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar, accusing him of being involved in a land scam.

In a post on X, Gandhi claimed that government land worth ₹1,800 crore, reserved for Dalits, was sold to Parth Pawar’s company for just ₹300 crore. He also alleged that stamp duty on the deal was waived, calling it a case of “land theft” by a government that came to power through electoral malpractice.

He further said that those in power were exploiting public resources without accountability and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on the issue reflected his government’s dependence on such individuals.

महाराष्ट्र में ₹1800 करोड़ की सरकारी ज़मीन, जो दलितों के लिए आरक्षित थी, सिर्फ़ ₹300 करोड़ में मंत्री जी के बेटे की कंपनी को बेच दी गई।

“In Maharashtra, government land worth ₹ 1800 crores, which was reserved for Dalits, was sold to the minister’s son’s company for just ₹ 300 crores. On top of that, stamp duty was also removed – meaning there was loot and on top of that, there was exemption in legal seal also!” Rahul Gandhi said in his post.

“This is “land theft” by a government that itself was formed through vote theft. They know that no matter how much they loot, they will return to power by stealing votes. Neither concern for democracy, nor for the people, nor for the rights of Dalits. Modi ji, your silence says a lot. Are you silent because your government is dependent on the same robbers who usurp the rights of the Dalits and the deprived?” he added.

The allegations concern Amadia Enterprises LLP, a company linked to Parth Pawar, which reportedly purchased valuable government land in Pune’s Mundhwa–Koregaon Park area at a fraction of its market value.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter, directing the Revenue Department and the Inspector General of Land Records to submit a detailed report.

Ajit Pawar, meanwhile, has distanced himself from the transaction, stating that he has no involvement in the deal and supports an impartial investigation. He maintained that as his son is an adult, he makes his own decisions, and the land purchase was done without his direction or interference.
