Ranchi, Jan 22: The Ranchi district administration today lodged a case against CRPF IG, Commandant and other officials in the Gonda police station for trying to enter the CM residence when the ED was interrogating Chief Minister Hemant Soren on January 22.
Earlier, the CMO had sought complete information from the Home Department and the Police Headquarters regarding how the CRPF soldiers came into the restricted area and what action has been taken against them.
The case
On January 20, when ED officials were interrogating Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his official residence on Kanke Road, CRPF jawans reached there in several buses.

They wanted to go to the Chief Minister’s residence but the district administration sent them back.
On the other hand, a case has also been registered against JMM workers and Bhim Army in Gonda police station for violation of Section 144.
CRPF accused of obstruction in govt work, violation of prohibitory orders
CRPF jawans have been accused of obstructing government work and violating prohibitory orders. The CRPF IG and the Commandant are also mentioned in the FIR.
On the other hand, the third FIR is also regarding violation of the prohibitory order. JMM workers, common people and Bhim Army workers have been accused of this.
The non-bailable section has been imposed in the case registered against CRPF. The remaining two cases are registered under bailable sections.
