Ranchi, Dec 17: Justice Rajesh Kumar of the Jharkhand High Court has said prevention is better than cure. “People should adhere to this dictum to avoid danger to their health,” he added.

While inaugurating a mega health camp today at Sharma Road Dhurba, Justice Kumar appreciated ‘Maa Lalita Poly Doc’ for organising the mega health camp and said that other clinics should also follow this by holding such a camp. Over 215 people, including 82 females and children, got registered and checked up in a day-long camp held from 10 am to 4 pm.

Due to the rush of registration, the doctors and nursing staff of the camp had to stay till 5 pm.

Awareness about disease

“Besides check-ups, awareness among people about disease is necessary, and organisations should carry on awareness campaigns from time to time,” said Justice Kumar.

He also appreciated Dr Ajit Kumar of Maa Lalita Poly Doc for organising a free-of-cost mega health camp for needy people.
