‘Sapno Ka Canvas’ celebrates young creativity in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Jan 19: Jamshedpur witnessed a vibrant celebration of children’s imagination as the Ramkrishna Forging Foundation (RKFL Foundation), in collaboration with URVITA NGO, organised a grand children’s art fair titled “Sapno Ka Canvas” at the Nicco (Jubilee) Amusement Park on Sunday.

The colourful sit-and-draw programme, held between 3 pm and 4 pm, brought together around 500 children, including wards of Ramkrishna Forging Limited employees and students from various government and private schools across the city. With brushes in hand and ideas flowing freely, the young participants filled the venue with creativity and enthusiasm.

The event was jointly inaugurated by Member of Parliament Bidyut Varan Mahto and MLA Saryu Roy, who interacted with the children and encouraged them to pursue their creative talents with confidence.

Artworks judged by eminent panel

Participants were divided into four groups, and their artworks were evaluated by an eminent panel of judges comprising P N Pandit, Manick Shaw, and Ranjan Kumar. Winners from each group were felicitated by senior officials of RKFL.

Prize winners

Group A: Soyanti Chaudhary (First), Arnav Singh (Second), Iman Chatterjee (Third)
Group B: Riyanshika (First), Ankit (Second), Arnav (Third)
Group C: Tiyasa Pal (First), Saumyadeep Bose (Second), Bhumika Kumari (Third)
Group D: Vicky Kumar (First), Muskan Kumari (Second), Preeti Mahto (Third)

Senior officials, NGO members attend event

Senior RKFL officials present on the occasion included Chief Operating Officer Shakti Prasad Senapati, CHRO Bhupendra Lodhi, Executive Director (Finance) Rahul Bagaria, and Plant Director D K Parik, along with HR team members Satya Ranjan Khatua, Ravi Rajhans, Sushil Singh, Rakesh Singh, Ujjwal Patra, Aditya Prakash, and Vinay Kumar.

From URVITA NGO, Secretary Dr Neena Sharma, Treasurer Narendra Kumar, and members Sangeeta Jaikumar, Preeti Pandey, Sujata Sahay, Pratyush Pandey, Niranjan Singh, Rakhi Dasgupta, Vishalakshi Sarsa, Leena Acharya, and Rita Kumari were present.

The programme was smoothly conducted by Ayushi Tripathi.

The event drew enthusiastic participation not only from children but also from a large number of parents and RKFL employees, making ‘Sapno Ka Canvas’ a memorable platform for nurturing young artistic talent in the city.
