Security forces neutralize three Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur

Bijapur, April 6: In an ongoing encounter with security forces in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, three Naxal militants were reportedly killed on Saturday.

In the Karriguta jungles of Pujari Kanker, near the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border, the Greyhounds of Telangana are leading the anti-Naxal operation, with additional assistance from the Chhattisgarh Police.

On the scene, the Naxals’ bodies and their weapons were found.

Thus far, weapons such as an AK-47 and a light machine gun (LMG) have been found from the spot.

On April 3rd, in a major anti-Naxal operation, security forces engaged in an encounter in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, resulting in the neutralization of 13 Naxal militants.

The security forces announced through an official release that the intense combat that started on April 2 had finished the next day on April 3.
