Security tightened in Jamshedpur after Interpol alert

Jamshedpur, February 5: Security has been significantly tightened across Jamshedpur following an alert issued by Interpol, prompting the district administration and security agencies to heighten vigilance as a precautionary measure.

Acting on the international intelligence input, police and administrative authorities have stepped up monitoring at sensitive locations, vital installations and crowded public places across the city.

Security checks have been intensified at entry and exit points, while surveillance has been strengthened at transport hubs, industrial areas and major marketplaces. Senior officials confirmed that additional police patrols have been deployed, with special teams assigned to closely monitor suspicious movements.
