Hyderabad, Dec 23: A local court in Hyderabad granted bail to six persons on Monday who are accused of causing vandalism at Tollywood actor Allu Arjun’s residence. The accused are associated with the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC).

The six individuals apprehended by the Jubilee Hills police were arrested and presented before the court. Subsequently, their lawyer filed a bail application, and the local court granted them bail.

Protesters, seeking assistance for Revathi’s family, who died in a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre during the premiere show, entered the actor’s house, damaged flower pots, and threw tomatoes.

The issue gained attention, prompting the police to quickly arrive at the scene and arrest the accused.

On December 4, a day before the release of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, a premiere of the film was held at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where Allu Arjun was also present. After Allu Arjun exited the theatre, a stampede occurred, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi. Several others, including her son Shriteja, were seriously injured.

In connection with the incident, Revathi’s husband, Mogadampalli Bhaskar, has filed a case against Allu Arjun, his security agency, and the theatre.
