New Delhi, September 10: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has given the green light for the appointment of six senior advocates to the position of Additional Solicitor General (ASG) in the Supreme Court of India.
The following Senior Advocates have been appointed as Additional Solicitor Generals (ASG) for the Supreme Court: S. Dwarakanath, Archana Pathak Dave, Satya Darshi Sanjay, Brijender Chahar, Raghavendra P. Shankar, and Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakare (Raja Thakare).

The notification states that these appointments are effective for a three-year term, starting from the date they assume office.
These senior advocates, renowned for their distinguished careers and involvement in numerous high-profile cases in the Supreme Court, bring expertise in constitutional law, commercial law, and corporate law.
The Union Government has made these appointments with an aim to bolster the legal team representing the government’s interests in the Supreme Court.
