St Mariam’s students visit Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha

Daltonganj, March 20: Around five dozen students and teachers from St Mariam School in Daltonganj recently visited the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha to observe the ongoing Budget session. The visit was conducted under the supervision of the school’s chairman, Avinash Dev.

Educational Visit to Vidhan Sabha

The tour was organised for Class XI students to help them understand how decisions shaping the state are made in the Assembly, Avinash Dev said.

Former minister Mithilesh Thakur played a key role in facilitating the students’ visit to the Vidhan Sabha.

During the visit, students interacted with the Speaker and a few ministers, gaining firsthand exposure to the functioning of the legislative process.
