New Delhi, May 13: The SLP (Special Leave Petition) of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who is in jail on charges of money laundering related to land scam, was heard in the Supreme Court on Monday. During the hearing, the apex court issued notice to ED in this case.
During the hearing, the apex court issued notice to ED in this case and listed the matter for further hearing on Friday, May 17.
Hemant’s petition was heard by a bench of Supreme Court judges Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta.

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal and advocate on record Pragya Singh Baghel argued on Hemant Soren’s behalf.
Hemant Soren has approached the Supreme Court against the order of the Jharkhand High Court. He filed an SLP in the apex court.
