Ranchi, Sept 10: A joint team of Delhi Police Special Cell, Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), and Ranchi Police has arrested a suspected ISIS operative.
The arrest took place on Wednesday morning from Tabarak Lodge in Islamnagar, under the Lower Bazar police station area.

The suspect has been identified as Azhar Danish. In addition, the Delhi Police Special Cell and Jharkhand ATS conducted raids in Palamu, where one person was detained for questioning.
Asher Danish, who was arrested in Ranchi, hails from Petarwar in Bokaro district. He had been on the radar of the Delhi Police Special Cell in connection with a case registered against him in Delhi, leading to his eventual arrest.
At present, the suspected terrorist is being intensively interrogated, and officials expect to extract crucial information about his network and activities.
