Jamshedpur, March 10: Sunil Kumar Tiwari, Plant Head, Tata Motors Ltd, was today elected as the Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council for the year 2025-26.
His name was announced at the CII Jharkhand State Annual Meeting held in a Jamshedpur-based hotel today.
Who is Sunil Kr Tiwari?
Sunil Kumar Tiwari is a highly accomplished industrial professional with 28 years of experience in leading organizations such as Tata Motors Ltd, Ashok Leyland, Tata Cummins, and UltraTech Cement (Aditya Birla Group).
A graduate of the National Institute of Technology, Patna, he holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and is a certified coach and Six Sigma practitioner.
Throughout his illustrious career, Tiwari has held key leadership roles, including his current position as the Plant Head at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Business Unit in Pune.

He has made significant contributions to the industry, winning prestigious awards such as the Golden Peacock National Quality Award and the National Safety Award from the Vice President of India.
His leadership is marked by his success in driving manufacturing excellence, safety culture, and world-class operations. Sunil has also been recognized with multiple chairman’s awards, the Deming Award, and the Manufacturing Excellence Award from Frost & Sullivan.
Beyond his professional achievements, he is committed to giving back to society, having supported the eye operations of 250 underprivileged individuals.
Diloo Parikh elected Vice-Chairman
Diloo Parikh, Director, Vaidehi Motors Pvt. Ltd has been elected as the Vice-Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council for the year 2025-26.
Diloo Parikh hails from Jamshedpur. Born and brought up in Jamshedpur, he has been associated with the family business of automobile dealerships of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and Tata Motors commercial vehicles.
Parikh is associated with various associations, including past Chairperson of FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Association) – Jharkhand and Excom Member of APAI (Air Passengers Association of India).
