Jamshedpur, May 15: As part of Tata Steel UISL’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability, a 50 kw on-grid rooftop solar system started functioning at Jamshedpur Public School in Baridih.

The system was inaugurated by Ritu Raj Sinha, Managing Director of Tata Steel UISL, marking another step toward advancing clean energy solutions in educational institutions.

To date, a total of 22 rooftop solar systems have been installed across various schools and institutions, including DBMS, JH Tarapore, Loyola, XITE, Carmel Junior College (CPS), St. Mary’s School, KSMS, South Park, XLRI, Rajendra Vidyalaya, Andhra Association, and others.

These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to develop environmentally responsible infrastructure and inspire the next generation to value and adopt sustainable energy practices.
