Mumbai, Jan 18: The official teaser for the upcoming crime thriller ‘Bhakshak’ was released by the film’s creators on Thursday.
Producer Gauri Khan posted the teaser to Instagram with the remark, “A fearless journalist on a mission to uncover the truth against all odds. #Bhakshak, inspired by true events, releasing on 9th February, only on Netflix.”

‘Bhakshak’ delves into the relentless pursuit of justice by a determined woman. Bhumi Pednekar, playing Vaishali Singh, embodies the character of an investigative journalist committed to exposing a grave crime, unveiling the harsh realities of crimes against women.

Under the direction of Pulkit, ‘Bhakshak’ features pivotal performances from Bhumi Pednekar, Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and Sai Tamhankar.
“Our aim was to shed light on the harsh realities of society and spark conversations that lead to meaningful change. I’m looking forward to more people joining this important dialogue,” movie’s director Pulkit stated.
The movie is scheduled to be available for streaming on the OTT platform Netflix starting from February 9.
