Earlier on November 2, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled a list of 35 candidates for Telangana’s forthcoming Legislative Assembly on Thursday.

The Telangana Assembly elections are scheduled for November 30, and the vote counting for Telangana will take place simultaneously with four other states on December 3.

During the last Assembly election in 2018, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), secured victory in 88 out of the 119 seats, capturing 47.4 percent of the overall vote share. The Congress, on the other hand, trailed behind with a mere 19 seats, coming in second place.
