Bijapur, April 3: A day after an encounter with security personnel in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, three more Naxal bodies were found there on Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The encounter occurred on April 2nd.
10 Naxalites’ bodies were found on Tuesday after multiple encounters along with weapons.
The remains of 10 Naxalites were found late Tuesday evening, followed by the recovery of three additional bodies in the early hours of Wednesday, as reported.
“A total of 13 Naxal bodies, including ten men and three women, have been recovered so far, after the encounter that took place in the Korcholi forest area of Bijapur district,” officials stated on Wednesday.

Naxalites and security personnel, including soldiers of the Bastar battalion, Cobra battalion, District Reserve Guard (DRG), and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), engaged in a day-long encounter.
Officials stated based on intelligence indicating the presence of Naxalites under the Gangloor police station area in Bijapur a combined team consisting of DRG, CRPF, STF and Cobra personnel was deployed.
