Gariaband, Jan 3: Three Naxalites were killed by security forces on Friday in the Naxal-affected Sornamal forest of Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district.
As per reports, the District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Special Task Force (STF) carried out the operation.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Jitendra Chandrakar stated that security forces eliminated three Naxalites in an encounter.

The soldiers have retrieved the bodies of all three Naxals, along with weapons, during the search. A team is currently stationed at the location.
The identities of the killed Naxalites are yet to be determined. Their bodies will be identified once they are brought to the headquarters.
