Jamshedpur, July 4: The Netaji Subhas University (NSU), located in the outskirts of Jamshedpur, has added another feather to its cap with the successful placement of three final-year Bachelor of Pharmacy students—Priyanka Roy, Deepa Soni, and Sneha Kumari—at the renowned pharmaceutical and diagnostics company, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

The students from the 2021–2025 batch have been offered the position of Territory Manager with an annual package of Rs 4.5 lakh.

The recruitment took place as part of a campus placement drive conducted by NSU’s Pharmacy Department.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories will be deploying the selected candidates across various units in cities throughout Jharkhand, where they will contribute to the company’s medical laboratory and diagnostic operations.

Highlighting the university’s commitment to holistic student development, the NSU Placement Cell emphasized the need for students to adapt to the evolving job market.

“In today’s dynamic employment landscape, it’s essential for students to integrate tech-based skills and enhance their global communication capabilities,” a placement officer stated.

He went on to say that NSU continually equips students through soft skill training, inside-outside learning programs, multi-stage internship opportunities, and a range of industry-focused initiatives.

Offers from top-tier companies like Dr. Reddy’s validate our continuous efforts to nurture competent, industry-ready professionals. Our goal is to provide every student with the resources and support needed for both academic excellence and career success.”

The university also informed that placement drives are ongoing across various departments, aiming to secure similar prestigious opportunities for more students in the near future.
