Aizwal, Sept 30: Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, currently the Governor of Tripura, took the oath of office to assume additional responsibilities as the Governor of Mizoram at a ceremony held in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Aizawl on Monday.
He will serve in the role “during the absence on leave” of the current Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati.
Justice Nelson Sailo of the Gauhati High Court administered the oath of office to Indra Sena Reddy Nallu.
The swearing-in ceremony saw attendance from Chief Minister Lalduhoma, Speaker Lalbiakzama, Home Minister K. Sapdanga, various Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, a Lok Sabha MP, the Chief Secretary, the DGP, and other distinguished guests.

Who is ISR Nallu?
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu was born on March 31, 1949, in Ganuga Banda Village, Nalgonda District, Telangana, to the late N. Ram Reddy and the late Hanumayamma. He is married to Renuka Nallu, and they have three sons together.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu was elected as a legislator in the undivided Andhra Pradesh three times, in 1983, 1985, and 1999.
He served as the BJP state president in 2003 and was later appointed as the national general secretary of the party in 2014.
