TSAF cadets win 8 medals in Open National Bouldering Competition

Jamshedpur, May 28:  Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Sport Climbing Academy cadets won eight medals (four Gold and four Bronze) in the recently concluded Open National Bouldering Competition held at Lonavala on May 24-25.

150 athletes participated in competition

Competitions were held in four different categories, Youth A, Youth B and Kids-Male & Female. More than 150 athletes from different parts of the country participated in the competition. A team of 40 athletes from various grassroots centres of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy participated in this competition.

The grassroots system of TSAF Sport Climbing Academy is developed and supported with the help of Tata Steel Foundation and JCAPCPL.

The athletes were accompanied by six grassroots coaches, one Strength & Conditioning coach, one nutritionist and an office admin from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy.

The team had left for Lonavala on May 22 and would return today.
