New Delhi, Dec 7: Delhi Police’s crime branch arrested two individuals on Tuesday, seizing counterfeit Indian currency notes (FICN) from them worth Rs 1,20,000, officials stated on Thursday.

The individuals in question have been recognised as Rohan Kumar and Mohammad Imran.

According to the police, the Crime Branch received intelligence indicating that two individuals involved in criminal activities were expected to arrive with counterfeit currency near Saket Metro Station.

“Accordingly a trap was laid, and bundles of fake notes of Rs 500 worth Rs 1,20,000 were recovered from both of them,” police said.
