Jamshedpur, Dec 25: Two persons were killed and three others injured as the car they were travelling in got overturned on the NH-33 under MGM Thana area near Jamshedpur on Monday morning.

The fatal mishap took place as one of the front tyres of the car burst causing the speeding vehicle to overturn.

All are Kolkata residents
The mishap took place along the Gurma village about 25 kms away from the heart of the city at about 11.30 am while the victims were coming from Kolkata to see Jubilee Park during the festivity of Christmas.
Those killed were identified as Dilip Roy (65) and Mohammed Uzir (42), both residents of Kolkata as are the surviving victims.

Injured admitted at MGMMCH
The seriously injured were identified as Rafiul Mollah (35) and Jahirul Haque (43), and both have been shifted to Tata Main Hospital from MGM Medical College Hospital (MGMMCH).

The third injured identified as Muzibur Rahman (45) who escaped with comparatively less injury is undergoing treatment at MGMMCH.

According to sources, after getting to know about the mishap, the police had rushed to the spot and had brought all five injured to the MGM Medical College Hospital, where the doctors on emergency duty had declared two of them as dead.
