Jamshedpur, Dec 15: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Ranchi, in its realised weather report issued at 10 am today, recorded chilly morning conditions across Jharkhand, with no rainfall reported in any district during the past 24 hours.
Minimum temperatures hovered in the low teens at several places, while higher-altitude regions experienced sharper cold.
Ranchi recorded a cool start to the day, and similar conditions prevailed across Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and surrounding districts.

The lowest minimum temperature was observed in the state’s colder pockets, reflecting the intensifying winter spell.
IMD also reported the occurrence of fog in isolated areas, particularly over Ranchi, Gumla, Latehar, and parts of Kolhan division, affecting early morning visibility.
However, weather conditions remained dry throughout the state, with rainfall figures marked nil across all monitoring stations.
Meteorologists indicated that the prevailing dry conditions and falling night temperatures are consistent with the seasonal winter pattern, and residents can expect cold mornings to persist in the coming days.
As per statistics Gumla recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 7.1 degree Celsius today while Daltonganj recorded the lowest visibility of 300 metres.
Capital Ranchi today notched minimum temperature of 10.2 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 12.4 degrees.
