Dantewada Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rai confirmed the recovery of her body along with weapons.

The encounter took place around 9 a.m. in a dense forested area along the Dantewada-Bijapur border when security forces, including the District Reserve Guard (DRG), launched an anti-Maoist operation in villages under the Geedam and Bhairamgarh police stations.

As the personnel moved through the forest, a gunfight erupted, leading to the Naxalite’s death.
