XLRI concludes Summer Internship Placements 2025 with record stipends

Jamshedpur, Nov 10: XLRI has successfully wrapped up its Summer Internship Placement (SIP) process for the 2025–27 batch across its Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses.

All 583 participating students secured internships, receiving 584 offers from 114 leading recruiters, including 28 new companies.

The institute recorded strong compensation figures, with an average stipend of Rs 1.6 lakh per month, a median of Rs 1.55 lakh, and the highest stipend of  Rs 3.5 lakh per month from the BFSI sector.

The top performers continued to shine—38 % of the batch earned stipends above Rs 2 lakh per month, while 81% crossed the Rs 1 lakh mark.

Director Fr. Sebastian George S.J. lauded the achievement, crediting the institute’s consistent industry partnerships and the students’ professionalism.

Top recruiters included BCG, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, American Express, HUL, ITC, Aditya Birla Group, and JP Morgan Chase.

Consulting dominated the process, accounting for nearly 30% of all offers, while significant hiring also came from BFSI, FMCG, HR, Conglomerates, E-commerce, Automotive, and Heavy Industries.

The season also saw strong participation from new recruiters such as Standard Chartered, Pine Labs, Meesho, UKG, JioStar, and Deutsche Bank IB, further strengthening XLRI’s standing as one of India’s premier B-school campuses for summer placements.
