Jamshedpur, Feb 8: XLRI hosted the 12th edition of Disha, a career counselling fair for school students, on its campus.

Recognized as Jamshedpur’s largest career counseling fair for school students, Disha is an annual event organized by the students of Samarthya, the Human Potential Center of the premier B-school.

Samarthya is dedicated to helping students unlock their potential and discover their inner capabilities. The committee organizes multiple events throughout the year to create an environment that fosters growth and excellence.

With the goal of bridging the awareness gap regarding various career options, Samarthya has benefited numerous students in Jamshedpur.

This year, over 600 students, along with their parents, from more than 50 schools attended the career counseling session. Schools such as DAV Public School, Loyola School, Motilal Nehru Public School, Kasidih High School, and DBMS English School saw a high turnout.

“We expanded into more than 25 career panels and hosted a speaker session with business consultant and career coach Sumit Agrawal as our keynote speaker,” said a student from Samarthya.

Some of the key career panels at the event included Advertising, Armed Forces, Data Analytics, Engineering, Medical, UPSC, Sports, Dance & Music, Social Work, Law, Chartered Accountancy (CA), and other allied fields.
