Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Ensemble-Valhalla, XLRI’s annual festival of culture, sports, and management, is a vibrant three-day event that lights up the campus calendar each year.

Kicking off the season’s festivities, the official theme launch event, ‘IGNITO’, unveiled the festival’s theme yesterday.

This year marks the silver jubilee, the 25th edition of Ensemble-Valhalla, themed ‘Waves of Euphoria,’ encapsulating the dynamic spirit of unity and the excitement of shared experiences.

Anticipation builds for Vishal-Sheykhar’s performance

The festival promises an electrifying conclusion on Day -3 with a live performance by the legendary musical duo Vishal-Sheykhar, ensuring an unforgettable closing to this milestone celebration.

The inaugural offline event of the new academic year, IGNITO’24 ignited immense enthusiasm among students.

This year’s event was sponsored by popular eateries including Lassi Corner, Pentola, Delhi Darbar, Boba Cheers, Shout House, Bombay Brew Café, Baba Tea Stall, and Pao Wow.

Competitive spirit and culinary delights

The event showcased an impressive lineup of thirty team-based competitions, attracting an overwhelming student response, all competing for cash prizes awarded to the top three finishers.

Adding to the festivities, students savoured a culinary journey through food stalls set up by Jamshedpur’s renowned cafes, lending a flavorful touch to the day’s events.

A showstopper after a day of competitions was the Bollywood music night. Held at the basketball court near the New Hostel area, the venue came alive with dazzling lights, booming speakers, and dancing students.

This high-energy night saw the long-awaited theme reveal for Ensemble Valhalla’s 25th edition, ‘Waves of Euphoria,’ alongside the announcement of the headlining artists, the celebrated duo Vishal-Sheykhar, promising an unforgettable final night.
