The drugs, labeled as originating from countries such as Ireland, Turkey, the USA, and Bangladesh, lacked documentation to verify their legitimate import into India, raising suspicions about their authenticity.
Additionally, investigators found empty packing materials at the site, further amplifying concerns. Samples of the seized drugs have been sent for quality testing, while the remaining stock is secured in CDSCO custody.
The Ministry of Health has confirmed that the case is under detailed examination to uncover the full extent of the illicit trade.
