Ranchi, Dec 16: In an astounding display of mathematical prowess, Delhi Public School Ranchi students have succeeded in the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) 2023 -2024.
The annual competition to identify and nurture mathematical talent saw 10 DPS Ranchi participants shine with their exceptional problem-solving skills.
41 students qualify from Jharkhand
Forty-one students qualified from the State of Jharkhand, ten of whom are from DPS Ranchi.
The Olympiad was organised into 02 categories, i.e., Category A (Classes VIII to XI) and Category B (Class XII).
In Category A, 32 students qualified from Jharkhand, out of which 08 students are from DPS Ranchi, thus contributing 25% in this category, while 06 students qualified from the State in Category B, out of which 02 students are from DPS Ranchi, thus contributing 33.3% in this category.
The notable achievers from DPS Ranchi are Shreyam Jha (Class XII), Devounkar Giri (Class XII), Ved Vatsal (Class XI), Shubham Jha (Class XI), Rudraksh Rai (Class XI), Raina Singh (Class XI), Arnav Sinha (Class XI), Aditya Pratap (Class X), Pranay Kumar Singh (Class VIII) and Rudransh Ranjan (Class VIII). These students demonstrated a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to apply their knowledge to solve complex problems.
Indian National Mathematical Olympiad
It is worth mentioning that these achievers are also qualified to appear in Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2023.
Dr. Ram Singh, Principal of DPS Ranchi, expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments and commended their efforts.
