Jamshedpur, May 28: The day temperature will again witness an abrupt rise in the next 72 hours, hinted a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today.

According to weathermen, the maximum temperature across Jharkhand will witness a rise of 3-5°C in the next three days.

Weathermen said hot and humid day conditions are also likely at isolated places in north-western parts of the state today.

There will also be a rise in discomfort index due to heat and humidity.

Today, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely to take place at isolated places over the northeastern parts of the state.

Remal impact has waned

The impact of the severe cyclonic storm Remal which originated from the Bay of Bengal and had a landfall on the West Bengal coast on Sunday night has waned.

The cyclone has left behind much moisture in the atmosphere because of which relative humidity has increased.
