According to SP Rohith Raju, the surrender was influenced by the Telangana Police’s ongoing initiatives under the “Operation Cheyutha” programme, which focuses on the welfare of surrendered Maoists and tribal communities in the region. The police’s commitment to providing rehabilitation and development has been central in encouraging these individuals to lay down their arms and reintegrate into society.

The state government has highlighted the growing trend of Maoists giving up their weapons and opting for peaceful lives, lured by the comprehensive rehabilitation facilities offered to those who surrender. These individuals are now benefiting from the rewards and support offered by the Telangana Government, including immediate access to the benefits promised under state policies.
