Despite heavy police deployment, crowd control efforts failed as the crowd swelled beyond capacity. Viral videos on social media show police resorting to mild force to manage the chaos and prevent further escalation.
Earlier, Bengaluru traffic police had already cancelled RCB’s planned open-bus victory parade citing traffic and safety concerns. However, the stadium celebration still drew overwhelming numbers of supporters, many of whom remained outside the venue in hopes of catching a glimpse of their cricketing heroes.
The scenes outside the stadium, once filled with chants, cheers, and jubilant celebrations, quickly descended into panic and confusion, leaving a dark shadow over what was meant to be a moment of triumph for the franchise and its loyal fans.
