Ranchi, Feb 26: Former chief minister Madhu Koda and his wife Chaibasa MP Geeta Koda joined the BJP today putting all speculations at rest.
Both of them accepted the membership of the party in the state office in the presence of BJP state president Babulal Marandi.
The joining of Geeta Koda and her husband Madhu Koda in the BJP is being considered a prized catch for the party.
This development came as a big blow for the Congress and INDIA bloc as Geeta Koda has a good hold in the Kolhan region.
Geeta Koda’s switching over to BJP from Congress is a big political development with the Lok Sabha polls ahead.
