Jamshedpur, March 4: On the occasion of the completion of four years since the establishment of Manipal Tata Medical College, a special programme was organised to commemorate the milestone.
The event celebrated the academic achievements of medical students and was graced by esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest, Justice Dr SN Pathak of the Jharkhand High Court, and Special Guest, RK Mallik, Additional Director General, Communication and Technology Services of Jharkhand Police.
Addressing the gathering, Justice Dr. SN Pathak emphasized the sacred role doctors play in society, stating that they are akin to a form of God on earth. He acknowledged the increasing challenges faced by medical professionals in recent years and urged future doctors to prioritize ethics in their practice.

Justice Dr. Pathak asserted that newly graduated doctors should serve in rural areas of Jharkhand for a minimum of ten years after completing their studies.
“Your role goes beyond healing; it is a responsibility that should be fulfilled with utmost ethical considerations,” said Justice Dr. SN Pathak.

He encouraged the medical community to embrace their duty to serve humanity, especially in underserved rural regions.
The event also provided insights into the four-year journey of Manipal Tata Medical College and highlighted the historical background of the Manipal Group.

RK Mallik shed light on the challenges faced by professionals in the medical field.
Among the distinguished guests present were Manipal Group President Somnath Das, Dean Dr. Pradeep Kumar, and Director Rajeev Dwivedi.

The awards ceremony aimed to acknowledge and motivate the dedication and excellence demonstrated by the medical students.
