Jharkhand: NIT Jamshedpur hosts interactive session on managerial skills and motivation

Jamshedpur, March 4: In collaboration with RSB Group, the Chairman,  R K Behra, and NIT, Jamshedpur, spearheaded a three-day interactive session featuring Minocher Patel, a globally acclaimed author and motivational speaker.

The event aimed to nurture managerial skills and cultivate a holistic approach to personal development among first-year students.

The program, titled ‘Ordinary to Extraordinary,’ was graced by Nirmala Behra, Group HR Director, as the chief guest. Leveraging her extensive experience as an HR leader, she shared valuable insights and tips with the eager students.

Acting as a bridge between the RSB Group and students,  Rajeev Bhushan, Professor in charge of the Soft Skill Club at NIT, played a pivotal role in facilitating the engaging sessions. Students enthusiastically participated, sharing their perspectives on the enlightening and entertaining three-day event.

Professor Ram Vinoy Sharma, Deputy Director of NIT, commended the initiative, emphasizing its importance in shaping future engineers not only as skilled professionals but also as responsible and empathetic individuals.

The event received generous sponsorship and support from RSB GROUP, led by  R K Behra, an alumnus of NIT.

Reflecting on his journey,  Behra, who chose entrepreneurship over a traditional career path, underscored the significance of developing both managerial skills and personal character. The RSB Group, which he founded over five decades ago, now boasts a workforce of over 5000 employees.
