Panchayat samiti members

The two named accused are Mina Kumari and Munna Kumar, both panchayat samiti members, Rabda under the Chainpur block. One is unknown against whom this FIR is equally applicable, like that of Mina Kumari and Munna Kumar.

The nodal officer of the enforcement of the model code of conduct, Kundan Kumar, who is the additional collector here, said, “We ask everyone to respect and follow the model code of conduct as laid down by the ECI, and under no circumstances is it to be breached, as then its consequences are to be borne by the offender.”

Kundan Kumar added, “There will not be any leniency if the model code of conduct is violated or defied. It will be dealt with a substantial hand.”

Kundan Kumar said, “Let representatives of people, prospective candidates, political leaders and activists, etc., keep in mind that no one can get away if found defiant or violating the model code of conduct here. The law is there to take its course.”
