Ranchi, March 20: A CRPF 190 battalion constable shot himself with his service rifle today. Nihal Singh was a driver in CRPF 190 battalion.

He was posted at the Kedimo post of the Vashishtnagar Jori police station in Chatra. A family feud was said to have caused the incident.

The deceased cop was a resident of Dausa, Rajasthan.

After receiving information about the incident, Vashishtnagar Jori police station officials reached the spot and took the body into custody. Information about the incident was also given to senior CRPF officials.
