Jamshedpur, March 26: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry and clear weather over Jharkhand during the next 72 hours, with a rise in the day’s reading by 3-4 degrees Celsius.
Weathermen said no significant synoptic situation prevails over Jharkhand and that weather condition is expected to remain clear and dry.
Satellite pictures suggested that a trough from northwest Bihar to southeast Assam was running from northeast Madhya Pradesh to southeast Assam across Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.

A duty officer in Ranchi said that the maximum temperature is expected to witness a gradual rise by (3-4)°C in the subsequent three to four days.
Last evening several districts including East Singhbhum and Simdega witnessed thundershowers and lightning.
The maximum temperature at some places including Jamshedpur, Daltonganj and several areas in Kolhan had risen to as high as 37 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
The day temperature would again witness a gradual rise from today, said weathermen.
