Lucknow, March 27: The Padma Shri Mohammad Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, will host the final stage of the second Khelo India Sub Junior Women’s Hockey League from March 28 to April 6.

After the successful conclusion of Phase 1 in December 2023 and Phase 2 in January 2024, which took place in the national capital Delhi, this development ensues.

The nine teams have been split into two groups.

Pool A includes Khelo India State Excellence Centre (Bilaspur), Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy (Bhagta), SAI Shakti Team, Odisha Naval Hockey High-Performance Centre, and Haryana Hockey Academy.

Pool B comprises Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Jai Bharat Hockey Academy, Raja Karan Hockey Academy and SAI BAL team.

The top two teams from each pool will progress to the Semi-Finals, slated for April 5. Meanwhile, the teams ranking third and fourth in their respective pools will participate in 5th/8th classification matches to ascertain their final standings in the tournament.

Teams defeated in the Semi-Finals will compete in the 3rd/4th place playoff, whereas the victors will advance to the highly anticipated Final which will be played on April 6.
