Dhanbad District Marwari Sammelan president Krishna Agrawal, on Friday, while opposing Dhulu Mahto’s candidature, shot off a letter to BJP Jharkhand president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi saying that panic has prevailed in the community following his selection.

“The Marwari community and district traders are apprehensive as 49 cases related to extortion demand, land grab allegation, and others are pending against the Baghmara MLA. In four cases, he has been convicted up to 18 months.
