Dhanbad, April 1: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders today filed a complaint in the Dhanbad cyber police station against an objectionable post on former chief minister Hemant Soren brandishing a pistol in hand which became viral on the social media platform.
JMM Dhanbad Mahanagar president Mantu Chouhan, who lodged the complaint in the cyber police station, said that the photo had been posted on Jharkhand Choupal Facebook page. “We have demanded that the district administration identify who is operating this Facebook page and take legal action against him”, he said
The officer at Dhanbad cyber police station when contacted said that a complaint has been received about a viral objectionable post on the former chief minister and an investigation is being done.

Attempt to defame Hemant Soren and tribals: Mantu Chouhan
“JMM workers across the district are on the boil over this viral objectionable post on our party chief and former chief minister. It is an attempt to malign his political face who commands high respect from all people”, said Mantu Chouhan.
He said such a post had been made viral against Hemant Soren at a time when the Lok Sabha election is under progress. Its aim is to defame the chief minister and tribal community. He said that he has lodged an FIR in the Dhanbad cyber police station while party leaders are lodging the same in their respective area’s police station.
Cyber police station inspector Pramod Pandey told media persons that an investigation of objectionable post has been initiated.
