However, there were flaws in the results.  They were not in accordance with the new guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission, which had now scrapped the provision of 5 grace marks for one failed subject of the MBBS student.

The Nilamber Pitamber University took 60 days to mend its error, and the results of the 2019 batch third part one were re-declared on February 16.

However, in this case, the university again took enormous time, and now efforts are underway to hold supplementary exams for the seven failed MBBS students in April.

Supplementary exams in April

NPU Controller of Exams Dr M K Deepak told the Jharkhand Story correspondent, “We are going to notify the form filling date, etc., for the supplementary exams. We will hold these supplementary exams this April itself.”

There is one more nagging problem here with the MBBS students. It’s of 21 batch MBBS students.

The 21 batch MBBS students ought to have their teachings of the third part from April 1.

However, Nilamber Pitamber University has not yet conducted the second-year exams of the 21 batch of MBBS students.

It has not even issued the form-filling date for the second-year exams.

The 21 batch MBBS students will miss their teaching of the third part for longer weeks.

The exam controller said, “This issue seizes the university. Some 21 batch students of the MBBS have filed RTI. It is to be sorted out first.”
