Jamshedpur, April 15: The April 2024 edition of Johar Haat, a Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) initiative kicked off here on Sunday.
This cycle of Johar Haat is themed on the festival of “Sarhul”. The festival denotes different colours of the “Spring Season” in our lives and reflects the close connection of human beings with nature.
Keeping this feel and touch this time, the Haat consists of art, craft, cuisine and colours comprising of new entrepreneurs with their creative products.

Evenings will be accompanied by a ‘Samuday Ke Sath’ movie screening.
The edition witnesses the presence of three states namely Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Odisha representing six tribes- Kharwar, Bhatudi, Oraon, Ho, Pradhan Gond and Santhal- comprising a total of 21 participants.
During this cycle, workshops on Sabai grass products making, session on terracotta jewellery making will be organised.
Tribal cuisines in this month will serve the delicacies served during the “Sarhul” festival.
