Jamshedpur, April 16:  The anxious moments came to an end as UPSC -2023 final results were declared today.

The aspirants from Jamshedpur proved their mettle by qualifying the Civil Services Examination.

Swati Sharma gets 17th rank

Swati Sharma, a student of The Tagore Academy, got 17th rank in UPSC.

She had passed her matriculation examination from Army Secondary School, Kolkata, but after that, she studied in Jamshedpur only.

Swati completed Plus Two examinations from The Tagore Academy in Sakchi and then completed her Master’s degree (MA) from Jamshedpur Women’s College, Bistupur.

She cleared the civil services examination in the third attempt,.

Her father Sanjay Sharma, was in Indian Army.

Sakshi Jamuar gets 86th rank

Sakshi Jamuar from Ranchi has got the 86th rank.  She is the daughter of Garhwa Deputy Commissioner Shekhar Jamuar.

Harshit Verma gets 272nd rank

Harshit Verma, the elder son of Tata Steel employee Samar Kumar, had secured 272nd rank in the UPSC exam.

He will be able to become an IPS. Samar Kumar is a resident of Prakriti Vihar in Kadma.

Samar worked as a senior associate in Center Plant 3 in Tata Steel.

Harshit was currently working at a Bengaluru-based company.

Chaibasa’s Aman Agarwal gets 544th rank

Aman Agarwal who stays in Chaibasa in neighbouring West Singhbhum also cracked the prestigious UPSC examination in his first attempt.

Aman secured 544th rank.
